Galaxy Logistics is the logistics arm of SP Virgo Holdings. The Singapore company started out transporting metal products to various sites in 1998, and branched into other areas of transportation in 1999.
The primary activity of the business is logistics. Services provided and specialised in include full cargo and loose cargo loading, prime mover services, in-house requisitions, in-house material transfer, port-to-customer-yard transfers, and material management.
The company runs a fleet of prime-movers and smaller trucks on the road. This is complemented by a fleet of trailers, low beds and super chassis for double-mounted, oversized cargo where route and rigging have to be planned around the load.
Container yard storage covers 100,000 sq-ft with capacity for over 800 TEUs, while covered warehousing handles stuffing, unstuffing, repacking, labelling and sorting for general and out-of-gauge cargo alike.
